I was a madwoman last night!! I got SO much cleaning accomplished. And without having to be given "jobs". Well...I asked for one job at first...to get me started...Paul said I should clean my computer area. (I usually ask him for jobs because I can't just clean from scratch...it's a mental block I have...I need to be told what to do.) From the computer nook I worked outwards and got the area behind the sofa finally clear, and around the dining table, and in front of the sofa by the TV, and some of the area near the door/bookcases. Got so much done that I was able to *vacuum* some sections. Looks so purdy! I love to vacuum! We moved the bikes to the area behind the sofa, too, because it was now nice and open and it gets the bikes out of the walking path, unlike where they were randomly stashed before. I just had so much ENERGY last night. Not just energy...but this deep need to get this done. I'm sick of living in a sty. Man, I hope I have that energy again tonight so I can finish the downstairs and maybe work on the upstairs. Most of the problem with the upstairs is just about clothes needing to be cleaned and put away, so that's not a huge deal. The downstairs is way more complicated.

The kitchen is horrible still...but maybe I can get that done tonight.

I took the garbage out to the chute last night and when I walked back in the door it just felt so GOOD because my first glance was of the sofa with nothing but pillows on it, and the floor with nothing on it that didn't belong there. It's such a good FEELING. To start having a living space you can be proud of. I want more! :)
